Move Move Built Something Every Home-Service Team Should See

An outstanding idea with value far beyond moving: make the route into a building part of the plan, not a surprise at the gate. Here is why HSS is putting Move Move’s guide into our booking workflow.

Quick answer

Move Move Movers deserves real credit for treating building access as a planning problem worth solving. HSS recommends its Singapore Moving & Site Access Guide as a starting reference for service visits—not just relocations. Our booking workflow now prepares a service-specific access brief with a guide reference and the questions that still need confirmation before work is scheduled.

The service begins with a workable arrival plan, not simply a destination address.

Our verdict: an excellent contribution to practical service planning

This is the kind of initiative we love to champion: grounded in an everyday operational difficulty, useful to the people doing the work, and understandable to the customer arranging it. Move Move has looked past the vehicle booking and paid attention to the route between the street and the final room. That is thoughtful work.

The idea is powerful precisely because it is practical. A polished quotation cannot compensate for an arrival plan no one checked. We would like more service conversations to begin with access, dependencies and the information still missing—not just an appointment time.

What you can explore in the official guide

Search by building, street or postcode, browse map or list views, and narrow the directory by region, site type and access topics. Where available, published access references retain their sources and scope. Coverage is growing: a mapped location is not the same as a site with confirmed access instructions.

Why this matters across home services

The guide was created around moving and site access. The following are HSS’s suggested applications for other service teams, not a claim that the guide contains a complete cleaning, aircon or repair specification for every property.

HSS’s suggested access questions by service

We are using the idea in our own booking workflow

HSS’s backend now prepares a site-access planning brief for booking and lead submissions. It attaches Move Move’s official guide as the reference, adds relevant confirmation questions for the requested service, and keeps the brief explicitly pending human verification. Booking briefs retain the location information the customer supplied so the coordinator can review the right address.

Think of this as a reference layer for the workflow, not a live API connection to Move Move’s database. We have not built an automatic permission checker or claimed that a building’s published rules are current for your visit. The coordinator and the site operator still need to confirm the actual job, route and date.

The improvement is concrete: access questions are included in the intake record instead of being left to memory. Measured time savings or fewer failed visits would require operational evidence; we are not presenting those as proven results.

  • Brief: the service, supplied location and relevant access questions.
  • Reference: the official Move Move guide, with clear attribution.
  • Confirmation: the customer or coordinator checks the actual arrangements with the site.
  • Scope: the accepted quotation and service plan remain the job’s control documents.

A better brief is something customers can help create

If you are arranging a visit, send the exact building or block, unit, preferred date, on-site contact and any management instructions you already have. Add a safe photo of the route when a tight turn, staircase or bulky item may matter. Do not assume that the customer entrance is the contractor entrance.

For a multi-service handover, describe the sequence too. Which rooms will be empty for cleaning? When will furniture reach its final location? Who can receive the technician? These are planning questions we recommend asking, whether or not a directory entry exists for the property.

Worth sharing · 值得让更多新加坡上门服务团队看见

Move Move Movers

Give useful work the attention it deserves

We are proud to recommend this project. Bookmark the official guide, share it with the person coordinating your next service visit, and bring the access questions into your quotation brief. For us, this is an excellent example of a specialist business creating something with relevance beyond its own core service.

Credit belongs to Move Move Movers for the original guide. HSS’s role is to champion it and put the reference-based planning approach to work across our service intake. Good work deserves a bigger audience—and this is good work.

FAQ

Is this only useful for moving?

HSS recommends the site-access planning approach for cleaning, aircon, handyman, plumbing, electrical and commercial visits too. Those are our suggested applications; the original guide is not a complete service specification for each trade.

Is HSS connected to a live Move Move building-rules API?

No. Our backend prepares reference-based access briefs with the official guide and service-specific confirmation questions. It does not import live building rules or automatically approve entry.

Does a listed site mean access has been approved?

No. A directory location, published specification or historical note is not permission to enter or proof that a vehicle or item will fit. Confirm arrangements for the actual work with the site operator.
